We are testing the roll out of Notes Webmail on 2500 existing PC's. We
have an Active Directory environment and users are NOT local
administrators of their machines. They can get to the URL, log in and
read their email. But...each and every time they go to create a new
message, they get the error "The installation of iNotes6 Class has been
blocked or declined by the user."

If I log on as the local admin and perform the same functions, it
installs the correct control and all subsequent users do not get this
message when they create a new mail message. I need to avoid logging on
to each PC as the local admin and installing the control. Is there any
way to install the iNotes ActiveX control via Group Policy?

Hi Jess,
Download the IEAK, It will require a bit of hacking but you should be able
to create a cab and ins files to distribute your ActiveX control to your
client ws.
Are you using the codebase attribute in your html code?

Regards.

Hi Rob...thanks for the response. I must say I've never used this tool
before so it will be a little difficult. Any tips would be greatly
appreciated!
