My disc says, "Licensed for distribution only with new PC."

The disc also contains service pack 3.

I guess I'll just need to do some updating downloads.

You might need to set your bios to boot off a CD/DVD. Most modern PCs
will have a boot selection option at startup.

I do have that already done. I use Acronis True Image, and its
rescue disk has saved me more than once. Thanks for the reminder.
