Do you check the CMOS battery? That would be my first guess on a mobo
that's been sitting in a box for two years.

Mine started OK with a dead battery. I used to run my A7N8X-E Deluxe
for a while with a flat CMOS battery, entering setting in the BIOS
each time. I was too lazy to go to the store and get a new battery.
