Hi,

I have been given a ViewSonic vr38 device, that has PPC OS 2003.

I want to develop for this device using Visual Studio 2008.

The OS is rather old, so wondering if its still able to be done with VS2008...

If not, is there away to upgrade a device that has PPC OS2003 to the latest
version of the OS ?

Thanks

Unfortunately, no. There aren't "unofficial" (XDA-Devs) cooked ROM's either
- I've also checked this at XDA-Devs.

exactly which os version (start/settings/system/about)

You can either develop using embedded vb or c plus, think you can
install .net cf and run most .net apps for windows mobile.
