How can light pass through two slits at once when at its center there
is a matterial particle?

No. There is no photon and Einstein even questioned it.

How can a coffee drip pass through two holes in a filter paper
at once when at its center there is real coffee?
No. There is no coffee and even the dork Mitch Raemsch questioned it.
How can a magnetic field pass through a wooden shelf when
at its centre there is a lump of iron?
No. There is no note on the fridge held there by a magnet and even
the dork Mitch Raemsch questioned it.

Your author is an ignorant dork too.

Since charges emit both virtual and real photons, how do you know it's
the same light, lest the slits not be made of atoms, thus charges.

Hence quantum tunneling as well.

If there is no outer light source only virtual light would come
through. But it doesn't.
