I recently moved my Microtek Scanmaker 6000 scanner from one computer
to another in my office. I have been having trouble since I connected
it to my other computer a Windows 2000 Server machine with a USB PCI
card. I got an error message this morning that says "Microtek Scanner
Direct Scan Controller. Login Name is missing. Please check and
provide" when I rebooted the computer under a username that hadn't
logged into this machine before.

Where is there a username that it is looking for?

Please help!
