I am trying to resolve an issue with a recently installed SBS 2003 server.
Two users have forwarding set up to go to blackberry accounts. These
accounts receive a large amount of email each day i.e. upwards of 100 emails
a day. Roughly 2-5 times a day emails come in but fail to forward onto these
blackberry accounts. I get these event log errors

Event Type: Error
Event Source: MSExchangeTransport
Event Category: NDR
Event ID: 3030
Date: 22/01/2006
Time: 11:04:58
User: N/A
Computer: server
Description:
A non-delivery report with a status code of 5.6.1 was generated for
recipient rfc822;omitted(a)mobileemail.vodafone.net (Message-ID
<by841ffaukq47vbdhej8vb9y3b8arg.396957983.5332(a)mta121.emails.pcworld.co.uk>).

The emails that are received by the local account but fail to be forwarded
are not from a particular sender and this does not happen at a particular
time of day.

The sender gets an ndr with this in the message
The message contains a content type that is not supported
<server #5.6.1 smtp;554 5.6.1 Body type not supported by Remote Host>

As the error message indicates the message body format is the problem. For
example RTF or HTML are types of formatting. Can you review the message type
that caused the problem and match this against supported formats of
Blackberry?

I will try to find out the blackberry supported formats tomorrow as I can?t
find any information on this at the moment. I got this information about the
content type from the header of on of one email that failed to forward today.
MIME-Version: 1.0
Content-Type: text/plain;
charset="iso-8859-1"
Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit

The problem I have is that this email was replied to by another user and the
reply did not generate an ndr. The content type for the successfully
forwarded email was
Date: Mon, 23 Jan 2006 12:32:58 -0000
MIME-Version: 1.0
X-Mailer: Internet Mail Service (5.5.2653.19)
Content-Type: text/plain;
charset="iso-8859-1"
Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable

I would really appreciate any help you can give me as this is driving me mad.

That's not encouraging because the header information just look like text.
Which obviously can't be the problem. It would have been nice if there had
been a multipart type there or something similar.
