I am a newbie to the driver installation. When using DPInst 2.01
(DPInst.exe) of Driver Install Frameworks Tools, I got following error
and the 'software' modem (this is not a physical modem hardware) is
not appeared in Phone and Modem Options under Control Panel. However,
if I manually go through the "Install New Modem" widzard by
pointing to the mdmtest.inf, the modem would install OK with the COM
port assignment I want.

Any help? What is the meaning of "mdmtest.inf of Type 6"?
Besides, how do I assign a COM port to the modem through the
DPInst.exe?
