No, problem does not occur when using the keyboard. But the whole
idea, of course, is to not have to continually move the hand between
the mouse and keyboard.

The problem appears to be one of mouse sensitivity. PowerPoint is
interpreting minuscule mouse movements (almost at the noise level) as
a request to Move Here / Copy Here movement, whereas Excel, Word, etc.
allow greater leeway before triggering. Maybe someone at MS will see
this and provide a registry solution (assuming there is one).
