Your computer address is a Proxad address, which won't apply when the
computer isn't hooked to your ISP. Maybe Macs default to 192.168.1.x
when no DHCP server is found.

The JetDirect, which works, is manually configured to 192.168.1.151.

Based on that, configure your Lexmark to 192.168.1.172 with a netmask of
255.255.255.0. The .172 is arbitrary, but since you only have three
devices we can be pretty sure it won't already be used.

When I try to print a test page, there is the same message as before :

problme rversible : l'hte du rseau  192.168.1.172  est occup ;
nouvel essai dans 5 secondes...

When I ping this address, the reply is :
ping: sendto: No route to host

For this evening, it is not good... and I vill leave hoe for few days,
I'll be back next tuesday et go on testing.

Thanks for your help.
