Purchasing my new Dell PC.

After five years my current Dell Dimensions 2400 is running out of puff, running out of hard drive space, and I am running low on patience with it. For my new Dell PC I will be using it for a little bit of gaming (Football Manager and Sims), Storing and playing music in ITunes, Storing my Photos and Movies from my Camera and Camcorder, and surfing the Net. From: JayB on 23 Sep 2009 06:05 In addition to the video card, i would get the processor as a core-2 3.33 or quad 2.66 or better in fact, you should look into the XPS line or Optiplex line with 3 yr warranty. also get a 24inch flat panel, prices have come down. what price did you get for your config?? if you didnt want to wait most systems you buy now will come with a free upgrade to windows 7 when it ships if you buy vista premium, business or ultimate. jay Keeno wrote: > Hi everyone. There you can get a good machine with THREE different OS options. They will load XP as a "downgrade" Vista as the original OS and you still get a free upgrade to Win7. -- Steve W.
