Here is the same issue with the log included.

Does anyone have a solution.
I am deploying this in a test lab to evalute how we might user this.
So far the server I have installed it on will make a nice door stop.

Anyone from Microsoft out there????????????
It is tough to evaluate the new technology when you can't even install it,

Nick, did you ever get by this? I ran through a few installtions th eother
day and got similar errors. The Search message you posted made me think of
it. I knocked almost all of them out when I went into the option in
OPertations ot list all services runnin gon the famr and enabling all the
required options except the Windows SharePoint services help Search serivce.
The other times I got that issue I had a royally fouled up SQL install on
the server.
