From: Neil Rutman on 26 Jul 2010 10:29 Hey Poly, Sounds great as usual. Very hypnotic soothing piece! I downloaded proteus vx and can use it as stand alone but how do I access it in Sonar? Not showing up on my synth lists. Thanks, Neil R "polymod" <polymod(a)optonline.net> wrote in message news:4c4b1e4b$0$31262$607ed4bc(a)cv.net... > Kind of a "floaty" piece. Very hypnotic soothing piece! Thanks for the kind words Neil...appreciate it! > I downloaded proteus vx and can use it as stand alone but how do I access it > in Sonar? Not showing up on my synth lists. Hmm....best to make sure you have Sonar looking for it in the right spot! My Proteus VX dll is in Program Files\steinberg\vst plugins. If yours is in a different location make sure to add it to the "VST Configuration/Options" in your plug-in manager. btw, this tune was done in Reaper <VBG> Poly

It should have sounded "smaller". ;) Poly

Just get those levels as hot as possible on to the tape machine...whether it was a cassette portastudio or a big deck. It was the same every day. Those were da days my friend! Poly

And I rarely use a mixer at all....straight into the soundcard (I did some critical tests years ago and found no coloration was the best way to record for my purposes) so all my meter reading is in the puter. That's my excuse ;) Poly |
