Have been a happy Eudora user since the first release.

I have a paid version 7.xx running on 3 computers, however one of them
refuses to update or retain spelling dictionary and Indes. It performs fine
in checking and correction words that came in the original lexicon but "Add"
and "Edit", even acception (apparently) new words.

Next time those "added" words come up they are not recognized. I found the
US Lexicon and index had "read-only" attribute, changed to R/W but no help.

Is there another supplemental dictionary I am not finding?

Found the file, uignore.tlx was set to read only. Setting it to R/W seems
to have fixed the problem.
