XP isn't a GUI bolted on, either. It's the successor of Windows NT, which was
a complete rewrite of Windows. XP has nothing in common with other early
versions of Windows beyond the look and feel of the user interface.

Windows 95, on the other hand, was garbage.

Actually Blackberry is the number one OS in use by phone users. Apple is a
distant third after Android.
