From: d-bo on 22 Mar 2007 08:28 Our NAS has been consistently receiving the following backup errors. I was wondering if an open file agent is required, or if there is a configuration setting missed. I did enable the Volume Shadow Copy on our DC and the NAS to see if it helps. Backup- C: Unable to open the item C:\WINDOWS\security\edb.log - skipped. Maybe you should google a search on how to setup Symantec AV to scan when you ahve servers and databases - there are specific things you need to exclude from scans, they are all detailed on the Symantec Website.
