I have a computer with a TX PRO chipset motherboard (PC82C371TX &
PC82C439TX), with a Cyrix 150MHz CPU. Unfortunately, every time I try
to boot it, it doesn't even get to a BIOS loading screen. It has a
fresh battery, hard drive and everything...

Can anyone think of what might be wrong, or some debugging steps to
work it out?

Your obviously older off-brand motherboard has finally given up the ghost
(died). Time for an upgrade.

A fresh "everything," huh? Just what all would that be?

It can be almost anything, bad processor, bad motherboard, bad power
supply, cable/jumper mistake. Bad memory would probably give you some
beeps, assuming you have a motherboard speaker properly connected.

Did it ever work? When? What's different?
