Hmmm - strange. I noticed the "...one-to-ta,17693/" at the end of the
original URL, and double-checked. I use(d) the bit.ly Firefox add-on to grab
the shortened URL. I just tried again and bit.ly still generates the same
short URL from the "longhand" URL (http://onion.com/c8KlfQ)

It may be something like bit.ly being overloaded just now. I tried
bit.ly first to generate a shortened URL, which was different from yours
(but also an onion.com link) but which also didn't work.
