Do you even read Shaun's column in Micro Mart?

I missed that one, but just in case anyone doesn't know - I *do*
review new games on 8-bit formats, it's just that no one seems too
bothered nowadays other than perhaps the authors and developers of
those games.

More evidence to move away from gaming is that my Z80 tutorials seem
to be the most popular thing I've ever written. So, yes to gaming,
just less of it.

Thanks,

Shaun.

I don't see a need to review free games. People can try them out for
themselves. A mention every month of where people can find new games
would be helpful. The Speccy has a unified resource (http://
freshbeep.zxdemo.org/) not sure if the same is true for other
platforms.

The only problem there is that some free-to-download games end up on
real cassette via Cronosoft or Psytronik. Some people might not like
emulation and others might not have the technology or know-how to
transfer the emulator images to the real machines and might want to
spend their pocket-money wisely. It could also give handy feedback to
the developer too. But as I said, little feedback from gaming and much
more from just four pages of techie stuff, It's a no brainer really.

Cheers,

Shaun.
