Dialing it from phone contracts on my Skype 2 is working fine.

It's your phone, maybe the gaps between digits aren't long enough
try putting a pause beween each digit.

OK thank you - I can dial pppp3p5p1p0p2p0p0 from a phone contact entry
and it connects OK.

But it still doesn't work if I set up a single digit speed dial
contact for pppp3p5p1p0p2p0p0

And it doesn't work at all if I append pppp00441234123456 to the above
- that is the landline no. called still has to be entered manually.
This is kind of OK, except that I have to write it down first before
dialing it.
