Can anyone recommend a decent record turntable with the ability to
convert record tracks to digital files? There's a couple in JB Hi Fi
at $240+ and there's a cheaper one at Bigpond Shopping that does
cassettes also:

Any others? Thanks.

I bought that 3 weeks ago for $39 at Aldi, Toombul Shopping Centre, Brisbane; it works.

Buy a good quality turntable on eBay, there are plenty for sale these days
and a reasonable preamp will set you back about $50.
All up probably less than $200 and the end result will be much better than a
cheapie at JB.
