When trying to do the Media Player update (KB911564) I am getting error ocde
0x80242007. Can anyone help with this error?

80242007 - "The installer took too long and was terminated"

Please disable all third-party anti-virus, anti-malware, firewall
applications and try again.

Please report back on your findings.

Thank you. After shutting down virus protection, and a few other services, I
was able to install the update.
