From: david on 17 May 2010 23:34 Who do you use as your newsgroup provider? 3 out of the four ISPs I use no longer support News, and I expect that trend to continue. So I am connecting directly to news.microsoft.com. When that goes, so will my connection. I am viewing/defining this (and what is disappearing) more as a structured, organized, categorized forum rather than a particular method (e.g. newsgroup) used to provide it. Other than vaguely, I don't even know exactly what a "newsgroup" is in the context that the pros here are discussing it. I go to the Microsoft website to interface with this, that is the only way I have ever done it. |
