Every time I start Eudora (version 7, under Windows XP) it hits the
floppy disk drive.

Computer keep getting faster, but floppy drives don't. At this point I
suspect the floppy drive check more than doubles Eudora's startup
time.

Is there any way to make it stop doing that?
