I don't get those choices. I get the same menu as in the picture I
posted.

This is probably a little more info than you need but you will
probably need to what Option 2 says.

Register Tool Bar options

Option 1

Go to Edit – Preferences – Quicken Preferences or if your in the
Register go to Account Actions and down to Quicken Preferences

Then go to Register and make sure there is a check mark in the box
where it says Show Transaction Tool Bar
http://i886.photobucket.com/albums/ac69/jl747/QuickenPreferencessetuppage5-1.jpg

This will Add or Remove the Enter – Edit – Split from the register

Option 2

To make sure that your transactions are not automatically entered open
your register - click on Account Actions - go down to Register
Preferences - click on Downloaded transactions and if there is a check
mark in the box next to "Automatically add ... ' remove it.
Also remove the check mark where it says "Hide accepted
transactions ..."

This will also Add or Remove the Transaction Download Toolbar which
shows Downloaded Transactions and Bill and Income Reminders

Thank you very much.

Under the "online balance" etc I have tabs for "downloaded transactions"
and "Bill and income reminders".

You want to open the downloaded transactions as if you're going to match
downloaded transactions.
