Found this thread while looking for a solution to this problem one of
our users was facing.

Figured I would share my solution just in case this is still a problem
to others.

I found there were 2 instances of Office installed on this system - 2007
Basic and Small Business Server 2003 (Powerpoint ONLY). I uninstalled
Office 2003 altogether and Repaired Office 2007 using the installation
files. This and a reboot resolved the issue.
