Hello,

I am looking at purchasing either a 6 cell or 9 cell battery for a
Latitude D620. The notebook actually belongs to my Dad and he does
not mind paying the full price for a real Dell battery. I went to the
Dell website and found both. The 6 cell for $125 and the 9 cell for
$155.

I would want to buy it from a reputable website and not like from eBay
where I am not sure exactly what I am getting.

I wouldn't discount eBay totally. As I have purchased brand new
manufactures batteries at 1/3 the cost on eBay. Although I have no idea
where they get them from. Not to say you still have to be careful about
buying on eBay though. You still do.

Based on some recommendations here, I went with Pacific Battery Systems
for a replacement battery for my Dell Inspiron 8500. I'm very satisfied
with the service, the price and the battery.

I got my D620 battery from Pacific and am totally satisfied.
