poked around the net and couldn't really find anything.

Do you really want an ms-dos reference, or do you mean a reference for
the command console in Windows?

If the latter, you could go straight to the source:

Another possible site to go to, which has a bit more examples, is:
http://ss64.com/
It has an A-Z reference index like microsoft, but on top of that it has
a nice section on command line and batch script syntax.
