Hello folks - Running exchange 03 - single server, all the info stores =
~250GB.

Using Veritas netbackup exchange agent to backup - unfortunately, the tape
drive is only an ultrium 2 so it's really taking a long time. I've been
doing nightly full backups forever, but think it's time to change (until
ultrium 5 comes out soon, and bossman lets me buy).

Does any see a flaw in this plan - I do a full on Friday, and cumulative
incrementals on Mon-Thur (disk space for logs is not an issue - storage is
netapp LUN's)

Thanks.

Kevin

Can't you find somewhere on the network to store the backups on a disk
to disk bases? You'd need quite a bit of space admitedly but it has
the advantage of being far quicker. Then you can stream the flat BKF
files off to the tape.
