Hi , I need to update the bios in an Acer Aspire 1700 laptop I have at this
moment version 5.3, I was told I need to install 5.4 then 5.5 then the one
that makes it go from 5.5 to 5.7

I have seen this site here:
http://www.acer.com.au/acer/service.do?LanguageISOCtxParam=en&miu10einu24.current.attN2B2F2EEF=3112&sp=page15e&ctx2.c2att1=92&miu10ekcond13.attN2B2F2EEF=3112&CountryISOCtxParam=AU&ctx1.att21k=1&CRC=3559666452

I have not flashed a pc before I assumed that is was done in dos, but the
one above dose it in windows xp. If I use the one above do I only need the
one above or first get 5.4 then 5.5 then 5.6 etc?

Thanks
GK

You only need to apply the latest.

Unless it fixes an issue you're having or adds functionality you intend
to use, there is no reason or advantage to doing it.
