The SMTP Connector had nothing to do with that!

The file that couldn't be found was this one:
"C:\Windows\Temp\ExchangeSetup\Setup\Data\PostExchange2003_schema0.ldf"

It's part of the AD schema modifications.

You don't want to install Exchange on a DC, especially not if it's
also a GC.
