Hi all,

Happy New Year!

We are in the exchange 2003/windows 2003 envir. Currently, we are using
symantec brightmail gateway and can I introduce exchange 2007 edge server
into the exchange 2003 envir.? Are there any benefits using edge server over
third party product? Does edge server include anti-virus scanning too?

thank you!

Perhaps you ought to read the product information page at
http://www.microsoft.com/exchange. Exchange 2007 Edge Server won't buy you
all that much in an Exchange 2003 environment because you can't do an
EdgeSync subscription.

This explains what you will need to do but beware you have limited features
until you introduce a Hub Transport Server.
