Has connecting the device directly EVER solved the problem? (I
suspect that it never has and never will. When I had problems with
a Canon printer/scanner/photocopier I was told to use the
motherboard USB ports only. It turned out that my motherboard USB
ports did not work at all well in USB 2.0. They worked better in
USB 1.1 mode. I bought a PCI USB controller with a NEC chipset. The
Canon worked fine.)

I don't understand why they make gourmet cat foods. I have
known many cats in my life and none of them were gourmets.
They were all gourmands!
