I had one go through the washing machine over the weekend. Didn't
notice it until it finally came out of the pocket in the dryer, which
caused me to go check because of the noise. I let it sit for 2 days and
amazingly, everything is still on it and it works fine.

I guess you never know what will cause a flash drive to fail.

I give up now. Gone for ever. The only silver lining is that she might start
backing up properly. But I doubt it!

At least we learn from issues like this (most of the time). The more
