I am trying to import my contacts, Outlook is asking me to run set-up -
select add/remove features/ change teh feature to run from my computer or run
from cd???help

Quite likely that the import/export filters were not originally installed
and set to install on first run. If that's the case, you'll need your
install CD.

That said, if your contacts (that you want to import) are in a PST file -
no need to import, just open the PST where the contacts reside and
copy/move what you need to whatever folder you want them in.

You mean the pst file was missing or broken?I think you can try to fix your pst file.A third part repair tool called Advanced Outlook Repair may be helpful.You can download a free demo version at http://www.datanumen.com/aor/aor.exe .
