If Ihave several folders open like inbox/recived, inbox/from, inbox/subject,
sent/to, drafts, etc. and I go from another folder like MS Word to the
bottom Outlook bar to see the folders I have opened and click on one that may
already be open but not visible, it closes which is very agrivating, cannot
find to change this setting.

The folder state should be remembered when you switch between navigation
panes.
