I too have this problem (and doing a google it seems other do too) with
Windows Search add-in being disabled in Outlook ... and it seems to be
required to detect new items or changes that are required to be index
after the main big index is created (or recreated).

Any ideas how to get a response from Microsoft or a fix?

And please don't sugest that I use something else.
