The OP asked how to remount a drive. Suze said to turn it off and
on. Thomas Kettler said some drives have no switch. I said I have no
problem unplugging and replugging one. Then you cautioned me to
unmount it first.

I simply hoped, for your own good, that you unmounted your own before
turning it off.
