i have a refurbished studio 1737 and it freezes when i'm playing games
or watching videos. i try to remove as many uneccesary background tasks
as possible but it barely helps and i've run dells diagnostic utility
and memory testing plz help

Look for an update for the graphics driver.

look on the game software manufacturers site for any references to the
particular game and your particular video card and operating system. if
they don't have any known compatibility issues and solutions then you
probably should return the system as it may be the reason why it was
returned in the first place. intermittent problems are difficult and
time consuming to solve, and sometimes are never solved at all.
