Hi all,

I installed Windows version of the OpenSSH on my XP box (
http://sshwindows.sourceforge.net/ ) and for some reason I am totally
stalled trying to configure the passwd/group files for it so that we
can actually log into the server. The server seems to be running...
but we can't use it.

Any sample configs/pointers/help will be much appreciated.

Boris.

OK, I think I got it working. The key seems to be using the same
sequence of steps as detailed here:

http://www.rasyid.net/2007/05/18/install-ssh-server-in-windows-xp/

I didn't have to adjust file permissions, though.

The key part appears to be getting SSH's etc/passwd and etc/group
files configured properly. I am not 100% sure what other steps may
have played a role as I have tried a whole slew of things hence maybe
I am missing something here. But at least I got one server running.

Boris.
