I did an image restore a few days ago. My auto updates work for 2 days, then
it simply said "cannot install updates." I did some reading on here but I
cannot find a resolution. My windows logs looks like this over and over
again. Can anyone help?

DnldMgr Regulation: {7971F918-A847-4430-9279-4A52D1EFE18D} - Update
2D891B46-3C12-4277-9867-952E46B775B0 is "PerUpdate" regulated and can NOT
download. Sequence 9029 vs AcceptRate 0.
2007-11-30 16:23:54:156 1144 210 DnldMgr * Update is not allowed to
download due to regulation.

Could you supply some information on what your OS is, firewall, anti-virus,
other RTP programs, etc?

Update is not allowed to download due to regulation.

This could be due to server demand on WU servers, you can try later o
tomorrow.

What happens if you go manually to windows update and manually run it and
choose custom?

Does a specific update cause the problem?

Hello,
I have XP, AVG free, comodo firewall,and spyware terminater. My auto
update has tried at least 4 times and I went to mircosoft and manualy did the
update. Also included in the update is IE 7 which I would like to have back,
so I went to microsoft to download that and it still won't install. Along
with that on, there is about 10 updates.

How old is the image ? Try the Resolution here :
