Greetings --

Just recently I noticed that when attempting to attach a file larger
than 10MB to a message in Outlook 2003 a message box pops up that
states -- The attachment size exceeds the allowable limit.

We use Exchange Server 2003 Standard running on Windows Server 2003
Standard.
Outlook 2003 is out email client software.

I have checked for message limit settings within Exchange, and within
the User in AD.. There are no limits set there.

Furthermore this "error" is generated upon selecting the file which
indicates to me that it is Outlook disallowing the attachment.

I have pretty much looked everywhere within any settings that I can
think of.

Any one out there have any knowledge of this behavior?

Have you checked the settings in Exchange under Global Settings>Message
Delivery>Properties>Defaults?
