Hello, I am a teacher in Austria and my students have no problem with IE under
Vista. They have to set the protected mode to inactive.
But they have problems with Firefox under Vista. I have only XP and no
problems with Firefox. Have anybody experience with Firefox under Vista?

This problem is solved - I told them to use IE... I think they are not very
experienced with PC...
But the only problem is with 3 students who use Apple Macbooks. They have a
lot of problems with the player. I cant try it because I have no Mac. They told
me they use OSX and the player (AW 7 complete) from Adobe site cant be
installed...
Has anybody an idea how to run AW 7 on a Macbook (safari)?

This is the page that should install the correct player

<http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=AWPcmpl&P2_Platform=MacOSX&P3_Browser_Version=NetscapePre4&P5_Language=English>

There are many features in Authorware 7 that are supported on PC only. You
may find that even with the correct player is installed, your courses still
do not work. The only way anyone here can give you a definitive answer is to
examine your source code and test the courses on OS X.

P.S.

You really need to tell us something more detailed than "They have a lot of
problems with the player" - error messages, unexpected events, squeaky
noises, smoke from the monitor etc.
