In the other thread, over on Microsoft.public.windowsxp.help_and_support the numbers are: KB979909 and KB979906 So, unless you have different numbers for the updates that failed to install on your computers: Download and install these: KB982168 KB979909 KB979906 I'm sure the installer will guide you on what might already be installed and what you can install.
