Hi chums

I have a Behringer rev2496 that`s playing up, Last night it wouldn`t
intitialise, stopping with a flickering display and all leds lit,
switching off and on, and doing a factory reset didn`t help.

Today on the bench, it had the same symptoms, with some wierd looking
voltages around the connector from the psu to the main panel. after
probing around with a meter, it suddenly fired up and is working. It`s
out of warranty and frankly not worth spending much time on. I`ve
already replaced the unit with a TC M350 which is a far superior device
anyway.

Questions are, has anyone had this problem? and does anyone know what
the output voltages from the psu are sposed to be?

I had the same problem with mine. All down to a loose ribbon cable which
only needed pushing in. Must have come loose when I put it in my suitcase as
I joined the ship.

Never used the 350 but from the pictures it looks a lot less versatile than
the 2496. Can't comment on the sound until I hear one but I do love the
reverbs on the Behringer although I have yet to try it for anything else.

Verbs on the 350 are better than the B in my opinion, and the output is
far far less noisy - the de esseing actually works also

I have some kind of behringer verb, I dont think its the 2496, but I dont
like it at all
poor display, hard to navigate
it is a one sound box for me
I am sticking with my lexicons from now on

I would be checking the solder connections on the power supply. And
doing a quickie in circuit ESR check on the caps.
