Hmm - OK. Sorry you feel that way. There are many of us who have not
experienced such problems. I say that not to imply that yours are imagined
but to imply that I don't think that there is something systemically wrong
with DW8 - at least in those areas. I'm pretty confident that if you opened
a trouble ticket you will get some resolution.

you couldn't be further from the bullseye.

I called MM about my DW8 problems and the engineers I was fwd'd to had me
rebuild my site configuration then delete my configuiration folder. then
couldn't assist me any further.

posted on here, caught a dev's eye and he posted within an hour that my
problem is a known DW8 issue.... support had no clue about it. next day they
emailed me me another set of steps to try and correct the problem, when I
responded how someone in the forums replied about it they said oh well that was
a developer and have more current information than us =O

Whatever

From: sonicsight on
Stephanie,
I wish I could help him with his problem but I'm not getting that. Typically
when DW mx2k4 or DW8 crashes or won't start for me I just delete the
Configuration folder under docs & settings\username\application
data\macromedia\dw8\ and then restart DW and it's fine again.

I was merely responding to the post above that posting here is useless and he
should call, because I had the exact opposite experience only a couple days ago
