How to strip a tiny avr? We are looking to do a simple project with the tiny 15/25/45/85. Tiny15 would be ideal. However, to compile a simple dummy C program with AVR studio/WinAVR created 2.8K, which would rule out the 15 and 25. Are there ways to strip the run time library? ... 19 Sep 2006 15:06
Parallax Propeller I haven't heard anyone talking about the Propeller since earlier in the year when it had just been released so I'd like to share my impression of it with anyone who is interested. BTW, I have been heavily into LPC21xx ARM chips the last year or so and this is something completely different. I received a Para... 21 Sep 2006 02:29

Decoding CAN messages Hello, I'm working on a project thats measuring engine performance and fuel economy. Since most new cars (like the 2005 Ford we're using) have a CAN network, we thought we could get some engine messages off the CAN connector. Favorite Philips/NXP LPC21xx websites/forums? Hi, I've recently started development with a Philips LPC2103. I know Atmel has a site, AT91.com, which I found useful for AT91SAM stuff. I'm looking for suggestions or recommendations on websites/forums that discuss using the LPC21xx parts. I did the Google search already but ended up at sites that arch... 24 Sep 2006 12:51
MSP430 and Linux Anybody know which MSP430 programmers work well with Linux? I was thinking of getting the ez430, which is almost free, but I read in an earler thread here that the USB interface was proprietary and Windows XP only. Nobody's paying me for this one, so it has to be fun, and that means not dragging out the Windows b... 16 Sep 2006 23:33
Cheapest 8-bit eval board with Ethernet? I need to put together one to a few quick prototypes of an Ethernet-connected system, and the customer is concerned to minimize the materials cost of his prototype(s). The requirement is for enough flash and RAM to run a TCP/IP stack and download a small HTML file via http. Board must have both a serial port and a ... 12 Sep 2006 09:03 |
