So my mother-in-law is visiting.

So I told my Mac to share files via SMB.

So mum-in-law's Windoze laptop could see the Mac in question and would
let me access shared folders (via Ethernet). But here's the question:

How do I log on to a Mac from a Windoze computer to do remote file
sharing as a registered user of a Mac from a Windoze computer?

Anyone know?

WinXP of some description, btw.
