Bruce - I'm not getting anything displayed on the MIDI Input Monitor -
selected USB Audio Device - USB MIDI Keyboard attached - the Cakewalk MIDI
monitor thing in the task bar shows MIDI activity - but the SONAR Utils
screen remains black.

Steve,

I don't understand what midi interface are you using I've never seen an
entry in the Midi Port Selection like you describe (USB Audio Device - USB
MIDI Keyboard).

I just ran a quick test I select the Midi Input Viewer tab then chose my
midi interface from the Midi Port Selection (Edirol UM-1 Midi) connected my
midi keyboard and as I play on the keyboard I see data scrolled on the
screen.

Could you provide information on the midi interface your using?
