Hello!

I'm looking for a game where you started at the bottom of the screen,
had to defeat some crocodiles and reach the top of the screen.

As far as I can remember there was a river and very simple graphics most
likely looking somehow like that:

I cannot remember more, but maybe someone still knows the game.

Thanks

One of the Froggers perhaps? A quick search shows Frogger II:Threeedeep
had a similar layout and a also had a C64 release. Here's a screenshot
of the Atari version:

No, you were definately a man and not a frog. :-) I think you also had a
lance but I'm not sure.

No, AFAIR and also the friend I asked were quite sure that you were a
man and not a frog. But maybe you also had advance from left to right,
but he says from bottom to top.
